Monica creates beautiful images to help counterbalance a world that constantly surrounds us with scary and anxiety-provoking images. With her artwork, she also aims to bring calm to our human brain, which has a negative bias to keep us safe.

She divides her time between creating conceptual self-portraits and making editorial-style images of nature and people. Even thought she has know that she is an artist for as long as she can remember, she has only had the opportunity to pursue this, her soul work, for the past five years.

Monica creates conceptual images that explore the space between who we are at our core and who we think we “should” be according to the world that surrounds us. Her photographs illustrate the experiences that create this divide, and the process of returning to who we are at heart in order to live our purpose. It is by returning to our true self and living our soul purpose that we can bring the greatest beauty and light to the world. 

She also makes portraits of people and nature that showcase the beauty in the world, those magnificent, joyful moments that might go unnoticed if someone does not capture them in a photograph.
